Fukushima prefecture is located in the Tohoku region that has 6 prefectures. Fukushima prefecture lies in the south of it.
It is blessed with abundant nature and noted for its scenic beauty.
Transportation servise is almost ideal. Tohoku express highway runs verticaly, Banetsu express highway runs horizontally also it has Fukushima Airport as the gateway to the air.
Fukushima prefecture is divided into 3 districts. Aizu district is in the west surrounded by magunificent mountains. Naka-dori is the central of Fukushima prefecture that lies from North to South. Fukushima city, the seat of the prefectural government and Koriyama city, a commercial centre match the beauty of the nature. Hama-dori lies on the Pacific Ocean side where you can see a great turn of people at the beaches in summer.
